I just bought my prius with 118k mile and I am getting ready to change the spark plugs

I was just curious about any other things to change while I have all those parts off to access the spark plugs

I read somewhere that the PCV valve should be changed too

i would clean the EGR and replace coolant at the same time.

When I asked my local dealer to change the plugs, they suggested to me that the PCV be changed at the same time, and they would only charge me the cost of the part, since they were doing the plugs at the same time, and so the labour was included.

The EGR was replaced under recall I believe, so I am thinking to not even bother with that.

I figured the same. It's like a $7 part, wouldn't hurt to replace it.

Maybe the intake manifold was replaced?? Think I read something about that being done, or was it for the "violent" start up issue? Or was that tied to EGR clogging?

    Oy vey!
