has anybody got any recommendations for a replacement battery 12 volt battery in the uk. Halfords don't stock them and the dealer has quoted around £130. I have seen some online for £60. Just wondering what's best.
    Thank you

Send a private message to @Britprius on here, which will reach him via his email inbox, unlike these threads. He owns a Lexus hybrid now and no longer participates in these forums, but he's in the UK and there's no one on here who knows more about batteries than him, especially when it comes to buying the very best 12v in the UK.

He usually replies within a day or two but doesn't waste time with follow up questions, so make sure you get all your most important questions in the very first message...

both really. There is a range of prices with the toyota part in the middle of them. On previous cars (non hybrids) ive usually opted for a €70 Bosch. Im just wondering what the best route is with the Prius.
    Thank you

I went with the genuine Toyota part in the end because it wasn't a great deal more expensive so I didn't think it was worth the hassle. It's an AGM battery too which is definitely important because the battery is inside the car.

Hard to go wrong when you buy the part designed for the car.
