12 V battery, gone for 2 months

    Since Russ, who originally posed the question, was concerned that his 12V battery was not being charged, it makes sense to measure voltage directly at the battery to rule out the possibility that there's a bad connection between the battery's positive terminal and the dedicated jumpstart terminal at the front of the vehicle.

    12v battery charging?

    Can you charge the 12V with a regular car battery charger?

    Yes, but try not to exceed 2 amps. The 12 vdc battery is quite small, too high an amperage setting could cause the battery to vent electrolyte
