Aux input electronic noise problem solved!!!!!!

My thanks to the other folks in this forum that pointed the way to solving the (OEM stereo) aux input noise issues with this unit ($CDN 36.93 delivered):

USA link here ($US 17.99 delivered):

PAC SNI-1/3.5 Noise Filter Helps eliminate ground loop noise from your portable music player! (3.5mm plugs) at Crutchfield.com

To order the Toyota Canada parts for the Toyota fix to this issue (T-SB-0067-08 Rev 1 dated 21 May 2008) would have cost me $CDN 195.00 plus HST.

    Cheers

Both my 04 and 05 prius have cassette decks so I used to always get hissing noises out of them with a cassette adapter, especially classical and opera music played loudly, but then I found a white Phillips cassette adapter ($9 or $10 at sears) and the hissing is gone, so I'm just gonna throw that out for the owners of older Prius that don't want to spend the time and/or money on an aux input or ipod dock.
