Sorry my bad, it’s not the ABS sign it’s the circle sign with with an exclamation sign. I think the battery is working ok because this time I didn’t have a loss of power and no loud fan kicked in. All signs are indicating toward the inverter, here we go again lol. I still have lot of patience haha to deal with this problem. I guess this car is teaching me how to keep cool . I will run the diagnostics and report back.

I see no movement in the intervener coolant. I made couple of videos but don’t know how to upload them here.

If you have a youtube video just post the link and make sure it is not Private in the youtube settings.

Most likely the mfd or other load connected to the blown fuse is bad.

I guess you are starting to see why spending a few hundred more would have been the right thing to do. The FIRST thing they would have done is read and diagnose your codes. You still need to do that.

I watched them. Sounds like something is very wrong with that clunking but it is hard to say because videos sometimes amplify normal sounds. Codes.

It needs an inverter pump for sure because the reservoir is a Dead Sea.

    What are the trouble codes!!!

Until you read and report the trouble codes, the only thing that people can do to help is to guess what your problem is. You should have read the trouble codes before you purchased the new HV battery.

The second video clearly has a coolant control valve (CCV) "seeking but not finding" and so it is constantly seeking forwards and backwards. You need to replace the CCV.

Thanks, that clicking noise is for seeking and not finding?

Can you please tell everyone the exact trouble codes that the dealership found? This would be very helpful so that others can give you some advice how to proceed.

I have read that there are 3 or 4 different cooling pumps used on a Gen 2 Prius.

Please list all the trouble codes!

No estimate sheet from dealer? Main engine coolant pump, meaning water pump, CHS tank pump ?

    Google

    Prius replace coolant control valve
    Prius replace inverter coolant pump

I will post the codes after I pick up the car from the dealership this evening.

They called me this morning and gave me a brief description of what it needs.

They didn’t give me the codes so I asked them for some sort of paperwork so they gave me Repair estimate sheet.

I have ordered most of the parts already. Should I buy original water pump as well or after market is ok?

I will replace the inverter coolant pump and water pump.
