12V Battery Voltage in Diagnostic Display -- New Battery Needed?

That's what I was afraid of, because Prius battery is bigger than Prius C battery.

I think you need the bracket to hold the battery securely in place for safety reason. Not sure if you could bend it a little bit?

Does it come with a vent hole?

Just curious why not to get the Prius C battery from Toyota dealer? It should be an easy fit.

 

You mean the Prius c battery is smaller than the Prius? Ya wish I knew that before hand #facepalm. And I thought I’d be clever and buy aftermarket to save $110 from the dealer. Jokes on me

Just bend the bracket a little bit.

Thanks for the suggestion @RobAustin, I bent the bracket and was able to secure the battery in place. Took a bit of blood, sweat and tears but happy I managed to install it all on my own!

 

Does anyone know the part # and/or size for the plastic clips that hold the back seat panel in place (in front of the 12V battery)? Somehow I broke both of them when I took them out. I think it should be a part from this page, but can’t quite figure out which one...
