12v drained 3x because interior lights left on

    I keep draining my 12v because I leave the interior lights on. Is there a way to get a reminder beep when I lock the car? I have searched many times on Prius chat and online... maybe I’m not asking the question the right way. Don’t think a trickle charger will help because I park in a lot with no access to a power outlet.

    wouldn't it be more prudent not to turn them on?

    a jump pack might be useful for you, especially now that you have drained it x3. a new battery may be in your future as well

    id hate to drop my keys or phone between the seat and console and try to find it in the total dark.

    Why ?
    Maybe you need to put a piece of tape over that button or wheel that turns the dome light ON.......and get into the habit of cracking the door open to make the lights come on ???
