If you have nothing substantial to say against a candidate, make a crude joke instead to try to divert attention away from the issues.

Wait a minute. I thought we had a revolution to get rid of the idea of being ruled by a king (or queen). Yet, in 2000, we had the fine choice of voting for the son of a senator (albeit a senator in his own right), or the son of a president. Seems like we were expected to vote for royalty whichever way we went.

I think the term "royalty" may be stretching it a bit. But we definitely have a class of career politicians: people who go into politics at an early age and spend their entire life in politics and government.

Our founding fathers wanted the United States to be governed by citizens, who would serve for a term, and then return to private life.

(But then they restricted the vote to white property-owning males!)

I Never vote by party (Dem. or Rep.). Both are just big corrupt special interest groups. I used to vote for the individual, unfortunately, I have not been able to vote for anyone in the last 20+ years. To get to the position of being a candidate in the first place, I don't believe any of candidates are that clean.

I usually vote against a candidate, as opposed to supporting a candidate. (lesser of 2 evils)

I want Ross Perot and the Reform Party.

    Rant off. ;)
