2002 Prius won't start after sitting for one month

I believe that in it's current condition it will NOT start at all.

 

Ron's last entry. He jumped it and it ran fine. Since it was running I suggested that he take it out for a drive and see if the HV battery charged itself up--all the dash bars showing. He doesn't have much to lose at this point. If it's dead, so be it. If it resurrects itself, he may be able to coax a few months and miles out of it.

 

That was in the morning. Later in the day, he had it towed to the dealership.
