    Hey'all,

Quick question: Having my Prius handed down many times over, did the 2004 Prius ever have a keyless remote feature that would activate the hatch to automatically open from a reasonable distance?

    Thanks

I don't think that any Gen2 Prius had a "remote" tailgate release- only the button on the outside handle.

I'm talking about the hatch, right? Is hatch interchangeable with "car trunk"?

yes, the hatch. what are you hoping to accomplish?

do you mean automatically open or unlock? either way, there's never been a button on the fob
