    There is a code (see the red triangle next to the speedometer), you just need the right code reader to see it;).

    How’s the 12 volt battery voltage?
    Any recent damage or accidents?
    Recent repair work or maintenance performed?

    The presence of the master warning red triangle does not guarantee that a DTC has been logged. For example if you open the driver's door while the car is READY and in D, that red triangle will come on, yet no DTC will be logged.

    However I agree that the 12V battery is the first item to check in this instance.
