2005 prius no keys no power.

You will need to reseed the vehicle for a new key.

Reseeding is generally done at a dealership, you might also try shopping the job at a local automotive locksmith.

Be sure to get two (2) fobs made, that way if you lose one you can copy the spare without having to reseed again.

WHY would you buy a car you can not start?
You did realize not being able to start, you can't test drive it to see/feel how it drives and see what works/doesn't work?
Was this purchase was from a TRUSTED and REPUTABLE friend/family/coworker?

TO DO:
1) Determine if your Prius is equiped w/ SKS (Smart Key System)?
2) Call local Toyota dealers and inquire about Reset, Reseed costs for 2005 Prius. Any discounts available AAA member, Costco member, AmEx member, military/police/fire/teacher/student/etc.
3) Call the local Toyota parts department on price of NEW fob (non-SKS or SKS); get the part number. Ask if they will price match other online Toyota dealers price?
4) Call or visit Camelback Toyota to see cost of NEW fob.

5) Tow vehicle to local Toyota dealer
6) Instruct dealer REST and RESEED needed.
