2005 to 2006 dashboard swap possible? Dashboard removal instructions?

    I have a 2005 Prius project car. It is in the process of getting a new engine and new HV battery. I hate the painted dashboard and I like that in 2006, they changed to a textured dashboard. Does anyone know if the 2005 dash can be replaced with a 2006 dash? I have located a 2006 dash not by intention, but I can get it really cheap. But will it fit without any problem? If that won't work, I would like to remove my dash and re-spray it to look like new. So removal instructions would be appreciated. Thanks.

    Yes it'll fit fine. But then your door panels/glove box won't match
