2006 Power up: BRAKE, VSC, ABS are all lit; long beeping first open the door, when running, or pressing the brake. Shift to D, the red triangle of death arrives, goes out in park, neutral or reverse.
    Codes persist after clearing are C1246, 1256, C1364, 1365.
Tried replacing the Brake Accumulator Actuator Booster Pump from a junker, same condition.
    What next? drive in reverse??
College student needs the car, school is 370 miles from home.

Did you have issues with the old Brake actuator pump?

Do you have access to the Repair Manual, and the New Car Features manual? (There's information here about where to find them.)

The NCF manual is the one with the diagrams and the basic overview explanations of how the braking system works. The repair manual has the troubleshooting procedures, and procedures for making repairs.

Sometimes, when a problem arises, it can seem easier to try replacing a part, rather than taking the time to understand how the system works and figure out what exactly is at the bottom of the problem. And sometimes that works. But in those cases where you try just replacing a part, and that hasn't solved the problem, it's really just back to plan A, which means boning up on how the system works and then comparing what it's supposed to be doing to what it is doing, until the cause is found. Can be tedious, but you eventually get there if you're systematic about it.

Thanks for the quick response and link to the RM, Chap. Help is good to recieive.
If the ton of pdf's constitute it, I think I still have it on another computer from a couple years back. Gotta find it.
Came from a link here just before buying the 3yr, unlim miles Dorman battery installed new for $1080 in 2107, then a new 12v, struts, front pads, and the multi-whatever speedometer place thinggy, in the now 220k miler.

The fluid was blowing by in the pump, eventually there was no pressure.
It would be great if a diy rebuild kit were available, but given a replacement from a wrecked '06 was $50, ... here I am.
I'll be back when I get thru the finding, reading, trying, ...

Next question is 32 mpg, where to put the can opener to start?

Lots of time spent downloading the manuals till I jut couldn't take it any more.
Reset the ABS using an ODBII, old codes were C1246, C1256, C11364, C1365, new are C1246,C1345,C1346,C1365.
Is there another way to INITIALIZATION OF LINEAR SOLENOID VALVE AND CALIBRATION without the VIM tool?
