I was driving home the other day and my CEL came on... I checked the gas cap and waited a few days to see if it cleared. When it didn't clear I had the codes read and it came back with 3 instances of P0505. Any idea what is wrong and how I can fix it?

Don't care much for my dealer and would much rather fix it myself or have my non-toyota guy fix it.

Since P0505 is an idle air control issue, I would recommend cleaning the throttle body and the mass airflow sensor. Do a search here on Priuschat, there are detailed DIY instructions on how to do each. After you are done and get it running, clear the codes by disconnecting the battery and see if it returns.

Are you having any issues with stalling, high, low or rough idle?

Thanks... I'll do that this weekend. As far as I can tell she is running as she always has without any issues.
