i do a upper grill block even now in the higher outside temp. and my ice is warmed up in just a few min.

so i dont see the need to do that .. just on and off.
or maybe 2 resistors connected by 2 relays. one for high and one for low.

    August data is now posted.

I will no longer be capturing data unless I feel like capturing data on specific situations.

I will still be updating my fuel log when I fill the tank up.

I have 50,534.5 miles on my Prius now. :D 28,665 of those miles were the regular Prius and 21,869.5 miles is with the Hymotion battery.

So far I have not had any major issues. The only problem I currently see is with my last oil change. The oil report said I had high fuel dilution in the oil. My guess is that it was caused by running extended EV mode without letting the engine get to proper operating temperature. You can read about it here. http://priuschat.com/forums/prius-p...ic-vehicle-use-high-fuel-dilution-in-oil.html

By the end of this year or the beginning of next year I will have a 50/50 view on how the regular Prius compares to one with the Hymotion battery installed.

How did you collect this data - like RPM?
    Do you have a scanner?

One more tank and I'll have 50% hybrid and 50% plug in hybrid miles on the car. :D Look for a 50/50 comparison review in the next few months.
