2006 prius dead no dash lights

2006 prius base model, no smart key. Key FOB battery is new, 12 volt battery is new (12.9 v)
221,000 miles. ran and drove fine, woke up one morning dead. Fob un-locks doors, inserted it in the slot - nothing. security icon on dash keeps flashing.

dome light works
all door are un-locking
can hear brake booster working
all the fuses in the engine compartment test good

LEDs on the side of the key FOB seem to be dark

like I said the security icon on dash keeps flashing with the FOB in?

 

Fixed--- on the back of the receiver for the FOB is a small black plug. removed the lower dash cover found the plug ajar - plugged it back in reinstalled the dash panel and on my way !!!!
