so HK is the closest to the current AM then.

Good packaging. It's nice to finally have a rear camera option without springing for a navigation system. I wonder how it'll be bundled here in Canada. It'll probably be

    A - stock car with mp3 player
B- JBL audio w/bluetooth, SKS, airbags, VSC, foglights, alarm, Homelink
C - B plus nav, backup camera, leather.

I'm probably 80% right lol. Although it'll be nice if they bundled the backup camera in package B.

heh, leather should not be included in the prius! leather is NOT green-car friendly IMO.

back a year or two ago Toyota developed their own brand of leather. It's fake, but no like Pleather, and last longer than leather. I'm sure they will use this and advertise it as leather.

    where are the power seats?

Honestly, a car with bluetooth, and leather, but no power seats?
I hope that they have at least elevation of the seats, the 05 bucket seats are so deep, my 5'2" wife can't see out the back window!!

    CMON TOYOTA!

I would think that leather would be much more "green" than using synthetic fibers. Ever wonder about all the chemicals involved in making synthetic fibers?

However, leather products are made from what amounts to a recycled waste product. Cows are grown for food. While the flesh of the cow is turned into steaks and hamburgers, the skin of the cow is not eaten by people. So you have a choice, dump the skin into landfills, or produce durable goods out of the skin, such as leather seats, leather coats, leather wallets, etc.

    Sounds green to me.

Then there's the fact that leather is biodegradable, while synthetic fibers are not. (at least not as quickly as leather is)

Argh, a Seaside Pearl with Gray Interior a year too late! I am really glad Toyota is finally opening up the interior color packages.

    THANK YOU AMPED!

    Much appreciated, sir.

BTW, looks like Flint Mica is out, as suspected. (Were you hoping for that, Danny? And are you now set on Magnetic Gray? Wouldn't that be another 3 months?)

All the descriptions we've seen in other threads are that it's both -- i.e., CD player that plays MP3 cds and have an AUX-IN.

I agree! This is frustrating! I am 6'4" and I feel like I am looking out of the top 3 inches of the windshield... I almost want to just swap out the seats for ones that sit lower...

Sure it is. It's just not "vegan." And vegan is NOT synonymous with "green."

The 2006 Prius...it's not just for vegans anymore!

Not according the the listing in the original post of this Subject. It clearly says "Natural Leather Seating Material."
