chrome grille, new headlights, chrome brakelight surround, new interior dash/door capping material, slightly different instrumentation symbols (and some rearrangement), updated higher resolution MFD with new graphics, availability of perforated leather trim, mp3/wma player, AUX Input, bluetooth now available with JBL audio system, upgraded JBL audio speakers, direct tyre pressure monitoring system, advanced front airbags.

    Speculations for US/Cdn model:
slightly lower rear seat (~1"), changes in suspension, acoustic windshield

I'm not an "upgrader". Oh sure, I joke about "those damned '06 owners with their iPod, back-up camera, hi-res screen having, leather sitters." But it's all in jest. Every year since my '04 the Prius has improved and I've remained happy (more than content) with my 'mesely' '04.

But in ~'10 - ~'14 when I'm looking to trade priapus in, his Prius replacement will totally kick nice person!

Unless the '06 Prius can get more mpg than the 04-05 Prius, I don't really see a point to trade in. Now if Toyota upgrades the 07 with PHEV... ;)
