2007 prius inverter

    Hi does anyone know how difficult installation of an inverter would be? My car codes show that the inverter as well as the batteries need replacement. I have read your forum to see that a new inverter is quite expensive. I am trying to locate a used one from another car. Is there anything particular i need to watch for when getting one? Will another year model be comparable to the 2007?

    I would get the hybrid battery replaced before you go after the Inverter. Its probably just the battery is bad but when it stops supplying power to the inverter the inverter goes crazy.

    no, it is not a difficult replacement. look for youtube instructions
