2007 Prius Stereo Changed, not showing tracks on lcd.

    Recently I changed my 2007 Prius sterio (basic audio cd) to Prius factory sterio (51824) that has mp3.

    Even though it is playing mp3 cds fine but I am not able to see the track info on the lcd while playing mp3 cd in the unit.

    I am also not able to skip a folder (no option for it) only can skip tracks 1 by 1.

    Please help.

    I also added 4 wires in the 20 pin connector that ables aux input which works perfect.

    with an aux jack, it won't display tracks; only the audio is sent to the head unit, not data. if you have a usb port, it will display track info.

    Sorry I meant to say its not showing any track info while playing cd itself.
    I know while playing aux input it doesnt show any info.

    i noticed that cd-r's don't display track info, but regular cd's do.
