2007 Prius, Tons Of Error Lights

    Well, This is my first post here. And of course its a bad one...

    My girl was driving her Prius to work today, and decided to go wash it. After getting on the highway, the VSC, ABS, Master Warning, MFD Warning, and im guessing a CEL( Has had once since we bought it for a o2 sensor). She was freaked out, but got to work fine. The car seemed to drive just fine, and had no issues.

    I went up there (at 12am...) and checked the oil, which couldnt be seen on the dipstick, so we added oil until it was visible. Next I topped off the two coolant reservoirs with Toyota 50/50 premix. This was all about 8 hours after it first happened.

    We drove it home, and the only light that was on was the big red triangle, and the one on the display. I read something about holding info, and flipping the headlights, and I was able to get some codes. These are all the EMV ones :

    01-DC 190-7D-F
    01-D8 190-7A-2
    01-D5 190-83-F
    01-DB 190-FA-F
    01-DB 110-63-2
    01-DE 1C6-D7-7

    Any help here? I was told that it could be the inverter(?), and it was recalled for my model year? Could that get it replaced?

    Also, theres this weird things with the steering wheel. It like pops when going from one side to the other. It has done it for months, but just annoying. Any ideas?

    Also, herv12v reads at 11.8 this morning. Guessing its going out?

    148000. Reset the lights by unplugging and replugging battery. Going to see if it happens again

    replace the 12v before you get stranded somewhere.

    none. whatever you prefer, oem, optima, duracell, exide, most important is that it's fresh, and full charged before installation.

    So she drove to work today and all the lights returned.

    I will be picking up a new battery today. If this isnt it, what else could cause all these lights to appear?

    The OEM 12 volt battery is Yuasa I believe. They might be rebadged, say Toyota on the sticker. A dealership parts department can sort you out for that, know precisely which Yuasa, and if you want a completely hassle-free purchase that's likely the way to go.

    Any major automotive outlet should have compatible batteries as well, likely cheaper. Be a little cautious, don't assume they'll get it right, but you should be good. There are several batteries that physically identical, same posts and vent hold, meet spec.

    Does this seem like a 12v issue to you?

    Also I work at Microcenter, and we sell a "Performance Tools Diagnostic Scan Tool - CAN OBDII"

    I read that I needed something with CAN to read whatever code the Hybrid system is throwing? Correct?

    you need a prius aware scanner. other than tech stream, i'm not sure what else gives all the sub codes.
    without the codes, it's hard to say, did she get the triangle of death?

    could be your hybrid battery. you'll know, once you get the new 12v in, and a proper scan.
    you can look them up at prius tech info online service manual, for only $15. for two downloadable days.
    if you need a scanner, mini vci and a compatible laptop are most recommended around here.
    you can find plenty of threads on all these subjects.

    Just the inverter pump, not the inverter.

    The more expensive concern is the catalytic converter error p0420

    We live in an non-emission county. Its apparently an O2 sensor that I REALLY do not want to pull the carpet up yet

    Also, the owners page says :

    Repair Order Number: 0307872
    A0N REPLACE HV ELECTRIC WATER PU,90L PEDAL MOD FOR TUNDRA AND PRI

    Does that mean that the inverter pump has already been done and will not be serviced? I read the code would be "C0U"
