We have a 2007 with 205,000 miles, after being at the body shop for a month we have the red triangle for a bad hybrid battery pack. Our big question is would the prolong system really work for us. Before the body shop she had been running good but I had noticed she was discharging faster than usual. Any help is appreciated.

    Welcome to PriusChat!!

Not sure if a prolong would be the best option at this point, unless you can find a setup to rent/borrow or have a desire to rebuild and balance. Kind of depends on what you want to get out of the current HV battery, and if you expect to keep the vehicle for any length of time.

You might be close enough to @TMR-JWAP - in which case that could be the current best option, outside of a NEW aftermarket HV pack.

You can also shop for a low mileage HV battery at http://car-part.com/ - be careful and don't buy an old pack of mismatched modules, and always check any claimed mileage by running the VIN at Welcome to Toyota Owners or use carfax
