It's listed on my 2007 window sticker as:

Dual Color-keyed Power Heated Outside Mirrors

So yes, it was available. It is listed under Standard Equipment, whether that means it was put on every car or not, I don't know.

    The Optional List includes:
    FE Fifty state emissions
HE Package #1 Includes: Backup Camera, Smart Key System, AM/FM CD with 6 Speakers, Aux Audio Input Miniplug, and MP3/WMA Playback Capability
    TV Touring Edition

If somebody you know has a thermal imager, it should be pretty easy to see (if you get a good angle so the mirror isn't reflecting the sun or something).

According to this 2008 brochure, it is not available on the base model, a package option on the mid level, and standard on Touring models:

I honestly don't think the wiring is there if you look for the heated mirrors fuse if you look in the slot where the heated mirror fuse would go you see blank plastic you don't see any wiring in that spot where the fuse goes I'm sure it'll be the same on the Prius I have a touring model 05 and a nicer model 09 but it's not a tourer no fog lights and I don't believe it has heated mirrors now adding the heated plate to the back of my mirror may not be a big deal but in the southeast United States I'm certainly not going to be one to be fooling with that

So my question would be. do you live somewhere where you notice heated mirrors working ? Or new to you vehicle? Or just checking my car sticker to things really in vehicle ?

most of my car have heated mirrors so im not new to it. i live in CA and at night when its get cold the mirror would fog up and I usually use the heated mirror to clear it but when I use it on my prius doesn't look like its going away thats why i asked.

Yes humidity build up is like water droplets very small and close together. Or something like it's not frost to be removed . In my van I don't think that would clear as fast as ice snow . I don't spend alot of time in rearviews. They're back they're.

most of the time my other cars they cleared the side mirror very fast which is why i love having heated mirror on all my cars no ned to go out and use a towel to clean them up. I will update this when I get it tested with a temp gun.

ok, so i just tested the temp on both mirror and its 65-68 degree which i think its like outside temp. I will be checking the side mirror heater rely since the mirror heater fuse is good.

The mirror glass comes out by popping the bottom edge toward you (easiest by aiming the mirror way up first), then it kind of hinges around clips at the top until you tug it off of those.

If nothing else solves the mystery, you can pop the glass out and see if you've got the glass with heater wires attached on the back, or not.

Did you buy a driver or passenger side?

If you need a passenger side too, there's a member selling one for $15 plus shipping.
