Making weird noises. Have an appointment on Wednesday to see if it’s covered under warranty as it only has 127k miles. Coolant flows normal. All lights are on in dash except the red triangle. Which makes me think they will likely cover it. Would love some insight.

Let us know what you local Car Stealership tells you and then we can talk next steps... Don't give the crooks any of your money if they won't cover it under warranty. Find a local hybrid mechanic or DIY.

Did you get an extended warranty letter in Hawaii?

No I did not, but when calling Toyota here they said they would let me bring it in for an inspection under warranty. But no guarantees they will fix it for sure until Wednesday when I take it in. I have been getting the 1121 and 1116 code as well but all the coolant is moving fine and its topped off and clean. Any ideas?

Good News! Today I took the Prius in and they verified that it was a failing brake actuator and that it would be covered under the extended warranty. Only bummer is that the parts are going to take 3 weeks to get in and the next appointment isn't for a month. They said to keep driving to a minimum but wouldn't say it's not safe. Just so everyone knows I didn't have the Red triangle, just the 3 symbols lite up as well as the brake light on.

I believe Toyota will authorize a rental car at their expense, you just gotta ask
