2009 Prius base, 61k miles, clean, worth 7200 dollars today? Want to buy

tough call on the battery, not driven much, but you never know. at that price, 2k for a new battery doesn't look awful

It’s 10/150,000 in California. You would think the dealer would know that. What about the brake actuator? Has it been replaced? That and the battery are the 2 big ticket items.

the actuator is a potential issue, but unknown what percent of cars. we only see the problems here. my daughters 08 has 130k with no issues

 

It was a warranty extension. They didn’t do that out of the goodness of their heart. They lost in court, just like the warranty extension on the frame of my 2005 Tacoma. It’s a problem. If you look here rather than listen to some you can form an opinion.

If the battery goes out, you’ve got a low mileage Gen2 that will last a long time.

 

So why does Bisco throw out wrong information?
Guy doesn’t own a gen 2 and lives in the East.

 

He mentioned the “c” which is 8/100.

It’s a different vehicle class, so it’s warranty is different. Our 2017 Lexus RX450h has an 8/100.

But the wife loves it, so it works for me.
