2009 prius turns on but no start. starting or ready problem

    start by adding at least 3 gallons of gas.

    • How many miles on your Prius?
    • Cleaned the MAF sensor?
    • Cleaned the throttle body?

    Gas 1/4 about 60 miles on it
    Miles 97k
    Not cleaned yet MAF
    Not cleaned throttle body yet

    When it turn it on. It does this rattling engine sound and turn off.

    I’d take @bisco ’s advice and add fuel;).

    The rattling you are hearing could be due to lack of fuel.

    Keep in mind that the more times you attempt to start your Prius, the lower the traction battery gets:cool:.

    How low was the reading on the traction battery? I see you are using an OBD2 reader that might not be able to delve further into the codes. Your battery might already be too low causing the P0A80:(.

    Traction battery was 1 bar. And it reads. Please put car on parking low battery. Traction.
