    depending on your level of DIY for cars one thing you can do when negotiating with the dealership, is negotiate they bring the car up to date on ALL service not just the oil and filters. You can ask for them to prove service on or change
    the brake fluid ( recommended every 3 years / 36k)
    Transaxle fluid - no service schedule but ask them to define LIFETIME FLUID, ask for it to be changed

    again depends on your comfort level of DIY but those are 2 service items if you buy that I'd recommend you address right away.. so see if you can get dealer to just do them
