My 2010 display was doing this today (right side not working). A few car reboots later, and it finally powered up. Also, just noticed the LED in my power button stopped working (not as worried about that).

Anyone else see this, or know what might be causing it? No, it's not the dimmer... I know about that trick :)

Checked all the fuses; they are fine.

Gonna bring it in to the dealer tomorrow since I have pics to prove it was doing it.

A battery causes both of those issues?

    Edit: Checked battery.... [IMG]

low voltage can cause all kind of electronic ghosts. i'm not sure what that display means, but there are some threads here on proper testing of the battery. or perhaps someone with more expertise will jump in.

That's a worthless reading. The car's in READY mode already and the DC to DC converter is charging the 12 volt.

You'll want to the car to sit overnight or MANY hours and see the readings while in ACC and IG-ON mode (NOT READY).

It's at the dealer right now. Had a couple other warranty items to get sorted out (chair, power button light), so figured I would have them just check it out.

Well, dealer tested everything and the battery comes back fine. He couldn't get it to duplicate the display issue (good thing I took a pic). They said it was normal operation for the LED on the power button to be off with the engine running, and fixed my clips on my passenger seat. We will see if this happens again....

I've had that happen, after a short while it comes back on again (maybe after changing gears a few times and/or messing with HUD brightness + headlight settings) Weird stuff.
