2010 ICE noise

    Putting 2-3k to a 5k car may seem not worthy by seeing it that way but if you see it from other side 2-3k can’t buy you another Prius car with about 100k miles that a replacement engine will have, I think it will come to the point if you want to give you Prius a new life, and avoid a bigger expense on a newer car, or just give up on her, and get in a newer car.

    Sounds like rot knock, i think you went low on oil, now your bearing is blown.

    I run 10 w 40 syn in my 2013 and never hear any engine noises.
