    Defrance, care to do PriusChat a favour? Call around the Calgary area Toyota dealers and see what their allotment is for May 27 or May 28 as well as the 1st week of June. We have 15-16 coming into the Edmonton area and apparently just one into B.C. for the month of June (I find that hard to believe that of all places, B.C. receives just one)

    I believe my dealer and I have been having a language barrier all this time. I think when he said just one 2010 coming into BC in June he may have been referring to only one Black Base model. That would make a lot more sense, but I'm having trouble getting straight answers (or even complete sentences) out of him. Now that I am considering other colours and higher packages I should have chance of getting a car before summer's over! Fingers crossed...

    Yeah, nice idea. I'm going down to Heninger on Saturday to see what the scoop on my order is. Once I get done there I can do some phoning around... would do it earlier, but work is pretty crazy these days... :ballchain:

    I called around to the five dealerships in Calgary and there's about 6 rolling into town by end of May.

    In further detail:
    Canyon Creek & Heninger - Both getting 2 or 3 in about 2 weeks. All of them except a couple are demos, from what I could ascertain. Both also stated that these vehicles are currently at the Vancouver harbour. Heninger seemed to think that pricing is coming out next week!
    Country Hills, Charlesglen, Stampede - No pre-orders. No vehicles expected until late June or July. The Stampede and Country Hills guys unsurprisingly tried to push '09s on me.

    So decent news, but unfortunately my order is still in production (Winter Grey Metallic, Package D), so it'll likely be late June until it gets here.

    Well you better hope it comes out next week because the cars arrive the week after!!

    Yeah Sun and Mayfield told me they had plenty of '09s (which is why they're not ordering any until Sept/Oct). Also the guy at Mayfield was totally clueless.. he was like.. nah we got no 2010s.. they should be the same as last years) :shocked:

    This weekend I heard on the radio a dealer in Lindsay, Ontario advertising 36 month 0% financing on the Prius. Never ever heard of such offer - not even close. Must have stock ... must clear them out!

    On the Toyota Canada web site, the financing rate is still at 3.9% for the 2009 Prius.

    Any of you have been able to get a Canadian Brochure for the 2010 ?

    Isn't it $2,000 at the least (plus whatever dealer incentive)??

    Really? I thought that was for 48 months. 24 and 36 months should be lower.


    My area gets them some time next week.

    It's amazing that Canada is supposed to get the Prius as soon as next week, and there are still no prices and the toyota.ca website still refuses to admit the 2010 exists (besides the prius.ca teaser that hasn't really been updated for months).
    Come on Toyota Canada, throw us a bone! :confused:
    PS: The Canadian dollar is almost at 88 cents US; 22000 USD for a Prius II translates to 25026 CAD today!

    The site doesn't get updated until the day it goes on sale. Toyota Canada typically does that. That way, if you see it on the site, you know it's in the showroom (or at least, it's supposed to if the dealer ordered any).

    Pricing is a different story.

    Any update for the rest of us? Are you driving it off the lot on Thursday? Are you leasing or financing and have any info there?

    The wait is killing me but still worth it. I ordered in March but can't find out anything.
