    Everyone,

I am looking at 2010 Prius IV w/100k miles. I already plugged in the VIN # on Toyota Owners site and looked at all the service records. Nothing major, except the regular battery was replaced. All the services were done (oil change + tire rotation) on time.

I test drove the car and it was really very smooth ride. Thereafter I test drove another prius with 79k miles and I could hear some rattles and sweaks and wasn't very smooth.

This 2010 Prius IV has the following:

    100k miles
    Grey Perforated Leather Interior
    Power Lumbar Support
    Heated Seats
    Navigation
    4 Disc Changer
    Backup Camera
    JBL Premium Audio
Sunroof with Solar Panel and the option to keep it cool under sunlight.
Rearview Mirror with Auto Dim and Home Link

The dealer is asking around $13,500/-. I am sure the price is good, but my concern is, should I go for 100k miles or should I look for something with little low miles 60k or something.

The ride seems very smooth and the car seems solid and looks like it's been well kept.

What are the things I should look for? Or should I walk away from it?

I would walk away. For that money you could almost buy a New Yaris or Fit, without the toys of course. Hybrid warranty limitation is something to consider with this mileage.

Id say you can prib do better. Should be lots coming off lease that you can prob pick up with fewer miles.

In my opinion it's a good price for the options you list. I consider Prius extremely reliable and would expect it to last another 100k miles with minimal maintenance.
