Just installed the fog light kit from Priuschat and lighted kick plates from Amazon. Great quality on the fog light kit, no issues at all. The light up sills are a want VS a need but fun to look at. Just have to get blue bulbs for the doors now.

I installed the priuschat fog light kit on my car. I did not use the bridge connector as I distrust them passionately. Snip, twist, solder, tape and a tiny cable tie for added security. I am shickled titless with the fog lights.

I just finished the install... the bridge connector is the most finicky part of it (if the lights don't work, check here first) I started in the cockpit and did the incar wiring first... the switch will light when pressed when you have it right... then you can move on.
The lights make a great difference on side roads after dark... definitely a good addition

I installed this kit today but no light at the switch.

I used the bridge connector - suspect that is where my problem is. Pretty sure my ground is good - I have another accessory grounded to the same spot and it is working fine.

So what are my options? Do pull off the bridge connector? If so, how?

    Thanks for any help!

The bridge connector has to be pushed together hard enough for the metal piece to cut through the wire insulation and contact the copper conductor. I had to use a pair of pliers to squeeze a little harder to get contact. The tight location close to the ECU makes it hard to get enough pressure from fingers alone. Try using a pair of pliers.

Used a pair of needle nose and still was not working. I opened up the plastic clip and measured the voltage at the metal bridge: 0.0V

After carefully prying open the bridge, I found that the brown wire didn't get pierced.

I'll pick up another tap tomorrow unless there is a better method.

Just to confirm... the wire is 18-22 gauge?

Cut strip solder & heatshrink. That is the permanent solution that will never fail.

Follow the Fog Lights link in my signature. Granted it is not the exact kit but close enough.

I ordered mine 26 Nov , shortly afterwards I received an email from Danny telling my the kit was on back order and won't be available till Jan 6 2012 and asked me if I wished to remain on list or cancel order. I replied and asked to be kept on the list I received confirmation and am patiently waiting, it won't be long before I will be able to see where I am going on the foggy nights in Dutchess county New York

Good to know. I got a confirmation on my order & it said I would be notified when they would be shipping but never received another email since that one. I hope that they are still coming. Danny must be gone for the holidays.

I would just get the SET kit if you are tired of waiting. Yes, it's about $20 more, but the wiring is "legal" since the lights only turn on with the low beams (and cut out if you use the high beams). Installation is a bit more challenging but is worth it IMO.
