In my new/used Prius, this panel is attached on the top end by black duct tape. Can someone take a look at this on their Prius and tell me how it's supposed to be attached? This might not be worth fixing, since I only noticed it when looking at the cabin air filter. But if the panel is the problem (broken tabs or something like that) and cheap, I might add it to my order from toyota parts cheap.

Here's a few photos of mine... No duct tape.

Under my criteria after owning 4 Prii from 2004 'til today, there are 2 glove boxes on the hatchback, an upper and lower oner.
I can't even imagine who can take the trouble to put a piece of tape in order to fasten one of this storage container as a means of a fix.

Ha Ha, the original owner seems fastener challenged. The fuse box under the hood was not snapped closed correctly. The cabin air filter cover was not snapped closed correctly. And a clip from the lowest part of the front of a wheel well to the front bumper cover was loose because the clip was on the wrong side.
