    Evan, I had a good look and I think it's a shadow cast by the solar panel/sunroof on the rear luggage cover or something in the vehicle, not the actual solar panel.

    Me too. I actually do not like sun roofs. I would go so far as to say I DISLIKE sunroofs. A LOT. Another "probably never happen", but I would prefer they have a total solar roof option and a split sun roof/solar panel option.

    It looks like the effect you get when you shoot parallel lines with a particular lens set-up. Near and far lines out of focus and middle tightly focused. Got any photo-bugs out there that can comment??

    Anyway - I'm weighing in on a direct but artsy shot of the solar panel and think it's a dandy idea. It would be great if it would top off the battery.
