    I wouldn't worry about it too much, LEDs are very reliable since there is no actual 'filament' to burn out, it will probably last, if not outlast the life of your car...

    A LED should out last your life if they are not over heated or run over the manufacturers current rating.
    Other things that can make a LED light assembly fail is poor soldering that opens up from vibration. Honestly, I would have no concerns ;)

    Does anyone know what MCD figure the LED's in the Prius headlamps are? LED's come in various colors and brightness levels (MCD). If a person could get a pair of headlamp assemblies dirt cheep, they could be modified to use additional LED's or LED's with a higher brightness (MCD) figure. To find those assemblies at any reasonable price could be interesting :confused:
