    The instant fuel economy gauge on the Prius with KM/h seems to act very strange to me. In two of the videos, the guys had the car at WOT and the gauge was all the way to the top.

    What's going on here??

    On my US car, the gauge is only at the top when running electric only or warp stealth/coasting at highway speed.

    Ahh, so it goes down as economy increases. For some reason I was thinking it was km/liter.

    So it's totally zeroed out when on EV mode? (no bars visible at all?)

    Yes, because you are using no fuel while still moving: zero divided by some finite number.
