    Hello
I live in northeast nebraska.I am in the market for a used prius, and a local used car dealer has a 2011 prius which he has had for close to three years.I was just wondering if there is any danger to the hybrid battery for this length of time without any use? Would this be a cause for concern? Any input would be very welcome.Thank you in advance!

The manual says to run it every 3 months while in storage. If they did that the you’re ok but check the tires closely.

The real danger is that it hasn't been sold for 3 years, there must be something wrong with it and you haven't found the problem that the car has.

There's a big problem with a dealer holding onto a car for 3 years, the depreciation wipes out any hope of profit. Like Grid mentioned, there's probably problems with the car
