I think I'll use my wires no telling how long these have been exposed to Florida. IMG20221114144356.jpeg

Thank you for the update. Let us know if the new to you transmission fixes it.

Yup they are. The driver's side is shaped differently so I had to put it in to make sure it wasn't going to hit the housing. It's close but no it doesn't

I think it is a magical noise if it doesn't since I replaced everything else.
The guys at the junk yard said these transmissions start making this noise at higher mileage. Mine is like 395K ish miles
They also said Toyota transmissions develop noise in the differential.

The junk yard guys don't know anything about toyota transmissions.

I think they talk to people and people just might tell them why they are buying the transmission.

Yes I put in new drive shafts cus I was betting on the noise being the drive shafts before it was the transmission.

I'm fairly sure there is a lot less slop in this transmissions differential.

Success the 2014 works in a 2011 no codes or nothing. Small problem though The new drive shaft I bought was not beveled on the end of the inner CV joint and I think it's hit in the transmission so I'm getting a clack clack clack noise like that other guy has

Glad you were able to discover the reason BEFORE it was to late. I well remember glancing down at the front-wheel (driver's side) one morning after fetching car from having the snow-shoes fitted, and noticed one of the lug-nuts was loose and had become unscrewed so it was on the last couple of threads! Solution: (1) re-torque ALL the lug-nuts (2) change tyre-shop, I've gotten into the habit of re-torquing lug-nuts ~100 miles after anyone has buggered around with the wheels/tyres. Timely reminder: Yesterday I had stealership swap ChgyPyg's summers for winter wheels, so in the next few days, I'll be doing just that! :)

Tire shops around here think it's ok to put full torque from the impact gun on the lugnuts. Holly crap even with a 3ft breaker bar you can't get them off. Only need like 80fp and they are putting like who knows how many hundreds.

    Toyota calls for 76ftp.
And once they are torque'd, you "can" check them, but it won't change.

Only thing I have used a torque wrench on is head bolts.
