Has anyone replaced the OEM LEDs on Gen III?

Hard to even find the part(s?) listed.

Back again with problems on wife's car which was sold with hidden damage including a broken passenger headlight housing. Water has started to enter the housing which I assume led to the failure of the LED low beams.

I cannot find any YouTube videos on replacing the bulbs. Even difficult to find on Toyota's part schematics. https://parts.miltonrubentoyota.com/p/Toyota__Prius/Headlight-Right/62961515/8114547463.html?partner=googlebase_adwords&kwd=&origin=pla&device=c&userLocation=9061285&kwd=&matchtype=&device=c&network=g&userLocation=9061285&googleCampaignID=16248391332&googleAdGroupID=134251077580&googleAdID=582617268129&googleExtensionID=&gclid=CjwKCAjwt7SWBhAnEiwAx8ZLagnzi1wGrHiz7NkXwRwXAO2ClMU-bZO7RrekEGjkKXRcKP83Ac1vPxoCkW0QAvD_BwE

    Thank you!

So the 2012 is the dual LED dual projector the high beam is a projector in this scheme I was interested in these lights up until the week ago when one of the other kids here said he just spent $700 to buy these lights and the bulbs are non-standard and need a ballast kind of like an HID. Not having any of that I wonder if these are shuttered projectors like the Gen 3 single low beam projector is not a shuttered projector it's just a lens slapped on a housing it's not a true projector it's only a projector because it looks like the projector lens from high school. But be that as it may no Prius is worth $1,500 in lighthousings and whatever bulbs cost That's absolutely ridiculous they were remarking how sick the car looked yeah how sick my wallet will be at $1,800 gone for lights for night when I hardly ever go out anyway No way. A few years the aftermarket will have them and you'll be able to screw an h8 and an h13 in there or whatever none of this is funny business

I use those in some motorbikes and powersports equipment. Fanless and bright

I have a 2012 Prius with OEM LED headlights. If I remember correctly, there is no LED bulb to replace. You have to replace the whole housing. It would definitely cost more than $700+ for the LED housing alone or closer to 1000+ for a new assembly. If you look closely at my picture you would see the headlights are different from the OEM halogen ones.

There are a bunch of used OEM assembly housing from junk yards, but a lot of them have broken clips. You would instead look for videos of replacing the Prius headlight assembly housing and dropping the bumper.

There are several posts regarding aftermarket components which I think is a bit off-topic from the OEM part.

So the 2012 is not the dual projectors or the dual projector looking set up That's the regular Gen 3 a lens over the low beam and an open high beam is this correct or not?

Not sure what you're trying to say but for the Gen 3, there are two versions.

2010-2011 have two projectors for the low beam and an LED wide angle low beam on top of it and a halogen parking light.

The 2012-2015 got rid of the wide angle LED and just has the two projectors. The parking light became a boomerang-shaped LED.

Well that's totally confusing My 2013 persona which is supposed to be a higher end piece of work on one corner let's say the right headlight there is a low beam that has a lens over it It takes an h 11 I think next to that I think is the high beam it's just open has no lens has a silver cover over it maybe I can't remember but it's just wide open no lens and there's a little LED somewhere in there. The two projectors I'm talking about must come after 12 or 13 and it has what looks like two low beams next to each other I think the high beam is gone the open hole has more bumps in the lens I think but it looks like the same footprint in the same front fender? Posting pictures here is difficult but I own a 2013 persona and on each headlight side there is one hole with a lens and one that's just opened the high beam being being open in the lens projector looking affair is the low beam and I have put LEDs in the low beam and the high beam in this lamp I think they're age 11 and h 8

Persona doesn’t have the LED IIRC. LED’s look like this:

Note the two, smaller lights; those are the LEDs. Reg headlights just have one like that. And there’s a headlight washer cover just below.

Yeah as @Mendel Leisk says, the Persona doesn’t have LEDs. What you’re describing is a singe halogen projector low beam with a multi-reflector high beam.

I should mention that all Gen 3s have halogen multi-reflector high beams in addition to the projector low beam.
