I have a 2012 with a malfunctioning pcs sensor. It is a pretty pathetic system that I have no need for except that my cruise control is not functioning and the information panel has been taken over by Check PCS noise. I have not tried deleting the codes and THEN turning off the PCS using the switch below the steering column, but I fear that I may need a more complete delete. Does anyone have experience removing the sensor? Given the cost and rarity of this system in 2012, I have to believe that other people have run into this issue after a front end collision. I am hoping that the software is not programmed to freak out if the PCS is "deleted". Thank you in advance!

I found this but I haven't done this. It is supposed to disable pcs entirely but you will also lose cruise control.
