Got lucky and saw a junkyard had a set of seats (by going to Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market and searching for seat (front)). They showed pictures of the crashed vehicle and I could see the entire interior looked really clean and only had 65k miles...They were asking $95 for front left seat. Called and got entire set around $400 with 3 of 4 door panels (1 was broke) and the center arm rest. Drove 2.5 hours to get them.

Here are the before and after pictures. I am very pleased with the results!

Everything was plug-and-play but the power seat did not work. Mechanic tapped into this thick green wire (I am pretty sure but don't quote me!) and ran it to the battery in trunk. Didn't pay too close attention but it wasn't difficult for him. Only added a trip to Auto Zone and 20 minutes extra or so.

The only difference is my 2012 plug in has different seat belts and buckle....Which we didn't notice until after he left and I drove off...Doesn't buckle in. So I have to go back tomorrow for final completion. If you swap make sure you check buckles before beginning job!

The heated seats work. And every power button on the drivers seat works except 1 (rear part of seat tilt up/down?). Functions it has are forward/backward, back recline up/down, tilts in the front of seat up/down. And has lumbar support.

The only other modification, which I didn't take a picture of, is my cloth plug-in rear bench had a vent on the front left whereas the regular 2012 has some type of styrofoam....Would not snap in (rear seat drivers side) so he just took a razor blade and cut the styrofoam. It is underneath the seat and doesn't effect anything. Entire job took 3 hours which included me vacuuming interior and running up to parts store for wire/fuse.

Any trouble with plugs not matching?
(Also, did you upgrade from a 2007 and have not updated your profile?)
Edit: I seem to have spoken too soon, you answered while I was typing!
Edit2: DOH! all I had to do was look at profile pic!

Plug-and-play absolutely identical. We were hoping since so similar the power seat would work, but did nothing.

    Cloth underneath (2012 plug-in):

    Softex underneath (2012 regular prius):

I still drive the green prius on the left in my profile...old pic though
