2012 prius 2 hatchback hv hybrid battery air cleaner

    I have the prius 2012 prius 2 and just became aware that there might be a hybrid battery coolant fan air filter. I was wondering if someone knows about this and has a link to how to find it on the 2012 and also hopefully how to access and change it. thanks in advance.

    there's no coolant involved, just air. the grille in the back seat may have a filter mesh behind it. not sure when they added it.
    check with a dealer parts dept.

    you can also check in with elearnaid.com, i think they sell one.

    I believe the GEN2 had a filter, and Prius V (wagon) has one. Not 100% of the V though.
    Toyota has a filter to keep fur from dogs out, but I purchased some a/c filter for added protection.
    You just cut it to fit the Toyota filter, and it pops right in, and out for easy cleaning.
