2012 Prius C Three is NOT wired for heated mirrors

    So, I was hoping to add heated mirrors to my 2012 Prius C Three. However, after pulling the door panel off, the door harness is NOT prewired for them. I'm not sure if the dash harness is (haven't looked into that yet) but I wanted to let people know because I tried searching for an answer and couldn't find one.

    Any time you look in the wiring diagram (more info), you can see that certain wires will have numbered asterisks like (*1) or (*2) next to them, and somewhere on the page there will be a legend that explains which cars have those wires.

    Here's an example page. You can see some wiring alternatives down at the bottom, like the spiral cable having either a red wire to a fuse (in cars with Touch Tracer) or a black wire to the combination meter (in cars without), or the pink wire that either goes to the navigation receiver or the display-audio receiver, or goes to junction L85 in cars with a plain radio. You can see the explanatory legend up in the top right of the page.
