So I am checking the history of the used 2012 I bought. Its got 19k miles on it and from the Toyota website I see the following oil changes done..It says they did the synthetic oil change..do i have to do the synthetic oil change or regular one is fine?

    Part no - 002790WQTE01 0W20-SINGLE QUART (W) (5)

Also Toyota recommends synthetic every 10,000 miles but the person who owned the car before seems to have done it every 5000 miles..

Toyota specifies 0W-20 synthetic, every 10K miles. Some people like to do it more frequently.

There is a syn-blend 0w-20 available (ConocoPhillips produced it for Honda, and sells it under the Genuine Honda label) and Valvoline is launching a Maxlife 0w-20 blend, but Toyota requires a full-synthetic 0w-20 for the 10,000 mile oil change intervals.
