    Hey Everyone,
My 2012 Prius has been having problems starting since the beginning of May. I took it in originally and had the 12V replaced but the issue persisted... Since then, I've taken the car in three more times with the consensus being that I have to wait until it breaks permanently before they can figure out what's wrong. The problem as accurately as I can describe it is:

The electronic locks only sometimes work.

Horn and headlights both always work.

Multimeter readings always look normal from both the battery terminals and the jumper plates in front.

More recently, while trying to start the car, the ready light will switch from on to off seemingly randomly. While the light is on, the key fob buttons will work. And when it's off, the key fob buttons. (The mechanics thought it might be the key fob but the above is true for both of my keys)

    Any help would be appreciated.

I had it in to the dealer. It was a problem with the ECU.
