Looks great! My girl still won't let me take off the hubcaps off of her car b/c she's scared she'll curb the rims, but in time it'll happen. I'm glad the '12's came with blacked out alloys. Peronally I think they look better than silver, but that's all personal taste.

BTW: Those were the droids you were looking for... doofus.

Hey, I like it, and I usually complain or make a sarcastic comment.

And as far as a Plus or Minus on the black wheels?

With that look, I don't know what you do besides Black Wheels?

Maybe you could find something that would work, but I think any standard looking rim would detract.

I mean if the "theme" is Storm Trooper Black and White? Then what else do you do?

Thanks! I used my office parking lot -- bottom floor on a Sunday is always entirely empty!

Thanks, I did the badges myself. It's a pretty easy DIY job for an afternoon.

This was my exact thought. I felt any other color wheel besides black would throw off the look. For now, I think the stock wheels look OK...I'll re-evaluate once I get the center caps and possibly some black lug nuts.

Welcome to our exclusive club:D. I actually think u did a good job w/ the black & white theme. The black wheels look like upgraded wheels & not stock at all.

GStephan, that's wild! There certainly isn't any gray in your exterior color choices!

I wonder how the black-wrap on the roof wil stand up to car washes and the sun's constant heat.

Also, since my '12 is not here yet, what about that white seperater lip on the lower front, below the lower grill opening? Is that removable? To me, it looks like a candidate for a wrap - maybe black in your case; maybe CF for some others.

How do you do this vinyl wrap? Where do you get the vinyl, and how do you get it to adhere?

Seems like a great idea for the lower air dam... Looks cool and provides scuff protection, if the vinyl isn't expensive.

    Hi everyone

Thought I'd share some new pictures after I had the roof vinyled. Excuse the poor quality, these were taken with my phone:

Looks great, I like it better now with the roof done!

Thanks! I had the roof done by two guys in Alhambra, total cost was $200 including material.

I tried the door handles when I first got the car, it seemed a little much - what do you think? Might be worth another shot.

If you are going for the storm trooper look, you should have black anywhere there is a drastic change in surface level. Perhaps including the well behind them. And then the rear license plate holder. And of course a THX1138 license plate....

How is the night vision with that much tint around? How do you plan on passing inspection? In Texas, they check it with a meter at every inspection.
