Hey guys. I'm the proud owner of a Oct 2013 Auris and loving it so far. It has 100.000 miles on it and looking in good shape.
What should I do as basic maintenance? Should I be worried of the engine problems that the early gen 3 Prii had or were they solved by 2014? Should I do an EGR cleaning? What else can I do to Keep the ICE in top shape? Any advice welcome.

Is the AURIS a HYBRID? If not, the engine is significantly different (it would be OTTO cycle, not Atkinson)

Forgot to mention, it's hybrid, yes. The hybrid system is still under warranty so my main concern is the ICE. (Tbh not sure if the warranty covers only the battery or the entire hybrid system)

Thanks, that's exactly what I'll do when it reaches 100k miles (hasn't reached it yet). Another thing: is it necessary to change the CVT oil? If so, when? I can't be sure whether it has ever been changed or not so far. Thanks!

Auris 2013 has Prius Gen3 tech. All the same, but HV battery is different.

You can find lots of stuff from Prius Gen3 forum.

The CVT fluid should be changed at some point. For automatics that claim 'lifetime' service, I change at 100k miles.

Many have tested the cvt fluid and recommend changing it, but no agreement on intervals.
Do it now and read up on it for the future
