    First, get yourself some equipment to watch the battery data live in the car.
    It'll cost you under $75.
    Android phone, OBDII Bluetooth reader, Torque app.

    That will give you the best insight into what is happening. No more random guessing which can waste time for everyone involved.

    Any anomalies will quickly be evident.

    You may be able to do some quick seat of the pants topping off of the pack by simply power-braking. Fill the pack that way until reaches above 70% SOC.

    You may find that you don't need to actually tear apart the pack. Better to be the least invasive as possible.
