i only ask, because there is a hybrid premium, and a million more things to go wrong on an old prius vs an old corolla.

It would need a through test drive to form an opinion. But even from what I see, it would not be my choice even at that price. 2010 has more of a history of oil burning. This one doesn't have the lcd touch screen that feeds me the info I want. And the seats look filthy. Don't know if they can be cleaned. Just my opinion. Others may be fine with all that.

Hey my friend, the guy from the PPI, send me a text, about leaving a bad review... i didn't really made a bad review I just said that they were nice but then they ignored me when I asked them if I could bring my own mechanic, and the guy called me and told me that I was being unfair, that I can take the car to the dealership and test it and that I can also bring my own mechanic. He also said that I wasn't being fair because he is giving it away for a cheap price. (I think it was for auction but it was only crashed from rear and front on the corners ( that was he said when I went to see it). Also I tested a PPI 2015 with 26000 miles and I couldn't really see that much difference, although the 2013 EV mode was draining when waiting on parking... what can you suggest from here?

BTW I need a car ASAP so this would be my best consideration in case the battery was about to be out.

Ouch! Needing a car ASAP is a tough position to be in. I don't envy you.

Can you get a mechanic with Prius expertise to look at both of them?

I nearly always buy preowned cars and utilize carfax. The loophole in carfax is that their reports are often from insurance companies.

So, if there was damage and the owner didn't file a formal claim with the insurance company, then there probably won't be a record. Sometimes, people will learn about their high deductible and the possible increase in their policy and they decide to fix the vehicles on their own. These probably don't show up on carfax.

These are some photos that I took of the PPI, 2013 for $8400. The engine looked kinda rusty, it had the ABC brakes light on, and they said they were fixin the sensors, tboth tires of one side were tear, they said they would buy another tires. 20170819_134110.jpg 20170819_134110.jpg 20170819_134105.jpg 20170819_133959.jpg 20170819_133922.jpg
